Evil

It's been nearly a month since I have posted to DA. I struggled with the lack of inspiration. I thank everyone for there helpful suggestions.

Despite my best efforts in shooting different things and finding inspiration where I could,

I was left . . . lacking.

Already low, I embarked upon a journey last weekend. It was a journey of separation. Trying for closure of an old withered life. A life that I chose to move away from. A life that once met so much to me and now I second guess my decisions, my sanity, my judgment and my sense of right and wrong. My sense of justice. Life has always been very black and white for me Good vs Evil. Now I am mired in a sea of uncertainty in a Karmic Battle that even if I win I lose. Grey, a rather charcoal gray is my current world.

I battled. I fought. I held composure. I stayed the course. I fought honorably for a just cause.

I lost.

I was defeated. I was washed away in broken glass. I stood bleeding in my own house, surrounded by shattered glass, my art destroyed. My ears rang with the sound as more shattered glass rained down upon me. More blood. More destruction. I felt the hatred. I felt anger. I witnessed the devastation. 113 years this beautiful image has survived, in my custody it's beauty is destroyed.

I met pure evil. I fought pure evil. I lost.

I saw a blatant disregard for beauty, art, and everything precious to me.

I saw pure evil in someone I once loved.

How could I be so wrong? How could I have been such a poor judge of character? How could I have made such a huge mistake.

I am crushed in my defeat.

Honestly, when I gathered up all 'Nettie' photos into a collection, I'd no clue they would all be faved...Your Images are quite strong though, unlike those of one other photographer who shall go nameless...I had to go through the collection and remove all those images.

Of course, you have beautiful models, but, I am amazed by the industrial settings in your photos. They are really cool. I assume they are in New Orleans as well? Great stuff..

I suspect these will go over like the proverbial Led Zeppelin

Thanks for the comments. Yes, you are correct most are just outside of New Orleans. My models are sworn to secrecy before we set out to the different locations. Many of these are just incredible spaces.
